Bund Shanghai

In a hidden corner of Kuala Lumpur, a forgotten community struggles to survive and find hope in the shadows.

While I was doing street photography in Kuala Lumpur, I came across a flat called Bund Shanghai. The name reminded me of China’s Bund, a place known for its wealth and prosperity. But this building was nothing like that—it felt abandoned, forgotten. I became curious about what was inside.

I became curious and went inside with my camera. While filming, I met someone who lived there. That moment made me want to learn more about the people living in this hidden part of the city.
