Waves of Life

Jia Chai is passionate about dancing to girl group songs, but he faces harsh criticism and negativity online. However, after joining UNIC, he discovers a supportive community that embraces him for who he is, helping him pursue his dream of becoming a dancer through friendship, acceptance, and shared experiences.

Editing this project was a fulfilling experience, especially finding the narrative through the interview footage.

I deeply admire how Jia Chai pursues his dream and eventually finds a community that supports and uplifts him. To me, this is the true beauty of community — standing strong despite online judgment and staying true to oneself.

The values conveyed in this project resonated with me, and I’m proud to be part of it.
